On Sybase, when a query has an ANSI join with three or more joins, and one join involves a union subclass, the query may fail with <exceptionname>SybSQLException</exceptionname> because a column is not within the scope of the joined table expression. The current recommendation is to avoid using join fetches that involve union subclasses.
