      When you get stuck during the installation process and the console asks you for a password just hit Enter and the installer will proceed to the next page.

      During installation of the Enterprise Application Platform on Solaris, the user was prompted for the root password. This was caused by permission issues when the installer tried to create some optional shortcuts (symbolic links). This issue has been fixed by removing the ability for Solaris platforms to create shortcuts through the installer. You can still create the symbolic links manually if needed.

      Description

      During the installation process after the extracting of files finishes and you click on Next, suddenly a prompt for password is displayed in the console: "Password:" Unless you hit Enter in the console, the installer won't proceed to the next page. Once you hit Enter, it continues normally.
      This is not a particularly new issue, but I wasn't sure if it's an environmental issue or what.
